Another method to return a Candidate Packet:

• Candidate packets may be returned via email to the Electionboard@lrboi-nsn.gov. 

Candidate packets will be reviewed and verified by the Election Board. If there are any issues or missing information, the Election Board will contact the potential candidate to correct deficiencies, if time permits. 

Important Information:

• The background check fee is required as part of the candidate process and may be mailed to the Election Board or dropped off. 
• The non-refundable payment of the background check fee must be received by the submission deadline. 
• All packets must be submitted complete no later than 5:00pm on October 5, 2026. 
• Incomplete candidate packets are unacceptable and will result in not meeting the candidate requirements to run for election.
