Recent findings prove that testing errors were to blame for reports of elevated PFOS levels in Lake Superior’s Smelt

Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, a Federal Recognized Indian Tribe having headquarters located in Manistee, Michigan is accepting bid proposals for a Lift Station Generator and Safety Grate.

Proposals are due no later than 2 P.M. (Eastern Time), Thursday, May 1, 2025.

PROMOTION OF GENERAL WELFARE 

This payment is intended to promote the general welfare of our Indian tribe. The tribe recognizes that current economic conditions, and increased costs of living, have placed additional financial burdens on our tribal members. With the rising costs of food, housing, utilities, transportation, and cultural/ceremonial activities, our vulnerable communities are experiencing increased hardship and stress.
